Shanava Saintolien obtained a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Stem Education from Florida State University. Saintolien's experience in education includes: over 5 years of mathematics tutoring, interning as a teaching fellow for Uncommon Schools in Brooklyn, N.Y., and working as a high school math teacher for Leon County Schools. She also acquired experience teaching English Language Learners through her volunteer trip to Zanzibar, Tanzania -- where she taught English to the teens group (ages 9-16) --and conducting private tutoring for ELL students in Leon County.
